Skunk, the new cat?

I had a very good weekend and have been very enthusiastically spreading the good news about skunk-cuddling. I thought that you would all be very eager by now to witness this with your own eyes. So, here's a photo of me happily holding the softest cutest wee skunk! It didn't smell bad at all! Apparantly they are kept as pets in the US. When I put it back down on the floor it wanted to be picked up again! This was at Auchengarrich Wildlife Centre. Odd animals are so much fun! I also stroke a random merecat, who was too busy digging to be bothered with me. Check out the link, it could be one of the places to go when you come to visit me? http://www.auchingarrich.co.uk/
On my BIRTHDAY, which is on MONDAY THE 23/10/06, I am hoping to go to the Blair Drummmond Safari Park: http://www.safari-park.co.uk/ I know it's a bit corny, but I currently find the world a scary place with so many wars and nature catastrophes, so I take full advantage of teh wonderful occasion of turning 28 and having child like exitement over great big lion roars and soft furry animals. I am also starting my ceramic course again tomorrow, (three points for guessing what you'll all get for Christmas..) and watching films and stuff.
I really enjoyed the Driving Lessons! It's the coming of age film with that red haired boy from Harry Potter. It was a warm and funny films and it had bits of Edinburgh in it!
Anyway, I hope we'll all get some crisp and sunny autumn days in between all the rain!

Music for rain and sun

I have just discovered a new band! Aberfeldys! They're playing at the Tollbooth in Stirling. Or they might have played. I didn't pay good attention to the date. Anyway, if you click on the link, you can download their very cute animation video to the song: Love Is An Arrow.
I thought I'd be kind and share the joy..

I also really like the song Rose, (as in Rose wine, but I don't knwo how to add the squiggle on top of the e at the end), by The feeling.
I also really like that dutododododo-song by that Scottish band, but I've not caught on what their band name is yet. Fear not, I'll find out!
Feel free to update me on music from Norway, England, America or Kazakhstan!
:) Andrea
